We are pleased to announce that the sixth year of BC Green Games is underway! Check out this awesome event for high school, water-related projects:

Rivers Day—Regional Youth Leadership Symposium—The Ripple Effect (September 28, 2013). Part of RiverFest 2013

Join high school youth leaders from across Metro Vancouver who are passionate about taking action to protect and enhance local receiving waters in Vancouver and beyond.

  •  get to know why healthy waterways are essential for a sustainable region
  •  explore daily choices and impacts on receiving water
  •  experience RiverFest 2013, an engaging, annual Rivers Day event
  •  connect with community partners who are actively caring for local waterways
  •  explore school and community action ideas for healthy waterways

On Rivers Day 2013, join youth leaders and community partners from across Metro Vancouver, who will take action to maintain, protect and enhance local waterways.

Co-Hosts:
Metro Vancouver, Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation, BC Rivershed Society, Fraser River Discovery Centre, The Vancouver Aquarium, Science World.

Register by November 30, for BC Green Games and your team will be entered to win one of six Sony multimedia devices!
