Lindsay Machan

Dr. Lindsay Machan

Lindsay Machan is a radiologist at the Vancouver Hospital and Health Sciences Center in Vancouver, BC. In 1992, along with 2 other scientists he cofounded Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Lindsay is co-holder of multiple pending and issued patents on devices used in or being investigated for medical treatment. In 2006 he and Dr. Bill Hunter were awarded the Manning Innovation Principle Award.

At present Lindsay sits on the Board of Directors and Scientific Advisory Boards for multiple Canadian and US medical companies as well as being actively involved in research and teaching at the University of British Columbia.
