Nicole Stefenelli is the founder and President of Urban Impact Recycling. Nicole founded Urban Impact in 1989 with one truck and driver (Nicole). Urban Impact operates two recycling plants (Richmond and New Westminster BC) and trucking operations in Calgary, 30 collection vehicles, 85 staff serving over 5000 customer locations from Whistler to Chilliwack. In 2010, Urban Impact diverted over 100,000 Metric Tonnes of waste from local landfills. Nicole is a committed environmentalist and passionate business person who balances a busy work schedule and raising four young children.

Nicole currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and the Waste Management Association of BC.
