Volunteers work in all areas of the Science World organization, from explaining exhibits in the galleries to welcoming visitors as they arrive.

The Science World Communications Department takes care of public relations and all media-related coverage for Science World programming and events.


Facility Care and Management

Building Engineering

This team is responsible for the general maintenance of TELUS World of Science—its mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, as well as our exterior grounds.


Exhibits & Programs

This group of creative thinkers plans, develops, designs and fabricates the variety of exhibits and programs Science World offers, year-round.



These design professionals are responsible for the production of Science World’s print materials, advertising, brochures, exhibit labels and signage.

How to Get Here

  • Take transit! We're across the street from the Main Street-Science World SkyTrain Station and offer rentable lockers for your personal belongings.
  • We are only five minutes away from downtown Vancouver and conveniently located along the beautiful False Creek seawall walking and biking path.
  • The Aquabus and False Creek Ferries make stops near TELUS World of Science.
  • If you choose to drive, we are easily accessible from both Highway 99 (from Washington State) and the Trans-Canada Highway.
