Engaging Science

Engaging Science is a teacher enrichment program designed to engage you in a fascinating journey of exploration and discovery to bring fresh ideas to your classroom. It is a partnership amongst British Columbia’s leading science awareness institutions: the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre, Science World and the Vancouver Aquarium. It is designed to help BC teachers implement the science curriculum in the Integrated Resource Package (IRP). Our mandate is to deliver:

• Hands-on, teacher training workshops in every region of BC.
• Classroom learning resources, including activity playbooks, kits, videos and electronic media.

The core of our program is a set of innovative teacher training workshops designed to introduce fun activities and lesson ideas to K-7 teachers. Engaging Science also offers a series of UBC courses that are available for credit or non-credit.
