At last our indoor renovations at Science World at TELUS World of Science are complete, and all galleries in our newly renovated facility are now open! Check out the new and expanded galleries and visit your favourites:
- A brand-new 11,000-square-foot Mitchell Odyssey Foundation Gallery: Eureka! with lots of interactive exhibits and an incredible view of False Creek
- BodyWorks, where you can play arcade-style games to help you learn about human life sciences
- Peter Brown Family Centre Stage, with live performances several times a day.
Plus, we still have all our popular interactive exhibits like the piano walk and the water table.
But that's not all! This summer, you'll be able to experience the science of sustainability outdoors!
The Ken Spencer Science Park will present rich multi-sensory opportunities that explore the impacts of our everyday choices. Visitors will feel real dirt, water and environmental features, and personally engage with exhibits that showcase real systems. In addition to a series of large and lively exhibits, the Science Park will offer programs for school and public visitors, engaging shows on its stage, and a variety of events for summer evenings.
In a public space alongside the park, you'll find the TDCanadaTrust Environment Trail. There, pedestrians and cyclists will find displays and interactive features illustrating False Creek's own sustainability story, from the mud flats that once hosted a thriving ecosystem, to industrial development, to the growth of a sustainable community in harmony with a restored ecosystem.
