A Closer Look at HairA Closer Look at Hair

My knowledge about hair is rather thin, as you can see, but my wife has experimented with an astonishing number of hair products. Ads for hair products seem to be mostly smoke and mirrors with some pseudo-science thrown in. Now, however, some German scientists looked at actual changes to hair using an atomic force microscope. This will enable them to figure out how microscopic changes in hair relate to macroscopic changes in how it feels.
