Support Us Your Donations at Work

Your Donations at Work

At Science World, your donation is an investment in our future. That’s why we’re committed to putting every dollar you donate to work—sparking curiosity in science and  inspiring children to become tomorrow’s science and technology leaders.

When you give to Science World, you can support the greatest need or direct your donation to one of two areas: visitor experience or community engagement. The choice is yours.

Visitor Experience

We’re proud of our exhibits and galleries but we recognize the importance of continual improvements. Thanks to donations like yours we’re able to continually renew the visitor experience to ensure our exhibits stay fresh, relevant and exciting to over 500,000 visitors each year.

Whether it’s the creation of our award-winning BodyWorks Gallery, the introduction of our Outdoor Science Park or the major renovations to Search: The Sara Stern Gallery, we use your donations to ensure that visitors to Science World have an exhilarating and  thought-provoking experience.

Community Engagement

WIth your generous support, we are able to take our zany brand of science outside “the dome” to classrooms throughout BC. Through our Community Engagement programs, we bring the wonders of science to kids where they live and ensure that every community, no matter how remote, develops the long-term capacity to support science education in the classroom and beyond.

This year, we reached 210,000 students, teachers and families in communities throughout BC from as far away as Horsefly and Tumbler Ridge. After all, you never know where the next great scientific mind might come from.

Act now. It’s a sound investment in BC’s future.
