Tech-Up Showcase presented by Amazon

On Friday, September 23, Science World will be welcoming under-resourced kids and families to the building for a free Tech-Up Showcase presented by Amazon.

This is a special event to reduce financial barriers and provide unique tech and science-learning experiences for students in Grades K-7. Pre-registration and prioritized access will be given to our Community Access partners.

The dome will be busier than usual, and as a result, there will be longer wait times for visitors with general admission tickets. We encourage you to please exercise patience while waiting in line.

What fun activities can you expect?

  • Assisting LEGO® Masters Graeme Dymond and Robin Sather with an Amazon LEGO® build
  • Learning about Amazon's next generation robots
  • Trying out the Amazon Robotics Challenge
  • Experiencing the hands-on Robot Mouse activity
  • Coding a Finch Robot
