After Dark: Sparks and Rec – Outdoor Edition

Summer evenings are meant for the outdoors. Sip, stroll, and soak it all in at our Sparks & Rec outdoor edition of After Dark. We open up the Ken Spencer Science Park for you to catch a live science show, be carried away by the sweet stylings of local musicians, and settle into a sun-kissed night of summer science.

Then head indoors where Sparks will fly—at our science show and electric spectacles.

If you’re chasing chill vibes with a curious twist, this is the place to be.

Musical Acts at this Event

Outdoor Stage: 6:30pm, 8pm

Robyn Froese is a prairie folk artist who has found herself in the big city of Vancouver, Canada. If Joni Mitchell and Janis Joplin had a love child raised in Sesame Street, it would be Robyn Froese. She is a playful and powerful performer with a unique charm, exploring themes of healing and love through her music. Robyn has toured across Canada, appeared on BBC Radio, completed artist residencies in France and Canada, and won the FVMA Folk Artist of the Year award.

Catch Robyn on our Outdoor Stage in the beautiful Ken Spencer Science Park. Listen to her next to the wetland area, singing the sunset in.
