Bat Week

Go batty at Science World!

From October 24 to 31, it's Bat Week, and we've got a winged wonderland of activities just for you.

Guests can participate in bat-themed trivia and games, and get the chance to build your own bat. Don't miss the bat transformation at the Ken Spencer Science Park and discover the fascinating world of these incredible creatures!


Good stuff for you to know:

  • Search: Sara Stern Gallery - Throughout bat week, join us in Search to explore the biology of bats with trivia, games, and a little Bat ’n Seek.
  • Tinkering: The WorkSafeBC Gallery - Join us in Tinkering to BUILD A BAT! Happening in the gallery Oct 29-31.
  • Eureka Gallery - In Eureka, explore the gallery to find hidden batty experiences all week long.
  • Wonder Gallery - In Wonder, all bat week long, join us for various bat-related stories, music, and play.
  • Ken Spencer Science Park - Join us from 11-4 pm all bat week-long to become a bat and explore the Science Park! Gather your cauldron of friends! Fly around to the different stations learning about how bats interact with our world, the benefits of having them in our neighbourhoods, and how we can help protect our local B.C. bats!
