Big Science for Little Hands @ Home: Let's Explore Colour!
We’ll demonstrate some easy science experiments you can do at home and try one out together during the session. We’ll sing a song, do some actions and use story to inspire us to create some art!
Recommended for ages 4 - 8
During our online session there will be two activities that families can join in with –- a science experiment and an art activity. These are the materials you will need for each activity:
Science Experiment
- Clear plastic bottle with a lid (pop or water bottle)
- Bottle of vegetable oil
- Salt
- Food colour (a few different colours)
- spoon
Art Activity
- Empty plastic milk jug (the ones with the handle) - any size
- Marker pen
- Scissors
- School glue
- Crepe paper (a few different colours)
- Sticky tape
