About this Event
STEAM: science, technology, engineering, art & design, and math
Micro:bits are micro-controllers that can be programmed to do what you want! They’re versatile and relatively inexpensive, which makes them a great classroom tool. Explore how you might use Micro:bit with learners. Registrants prior to October 16, 2020 will receive a Micro:bit they can keep after the session.
Please join the session on a computer to make use of all the features.
This session is intended as a professional development opportunity for educators. We will be hosting it on Zoom. Meeting details will be emailed 2 hours prior to the event. Upon receipt of the micro:bit, you are agreeing to attend the workshop. If you are not present for the duration of the session you will receive an invoice for the micro:bit payable within 30 days.
This program is a part of Tech-Up, Science World's initiative to enhance existing programs to include coding and digital literacy.
