Early Learners and Computational Thinking

Join Science World educators and teachers across B.C. for weekly sessions about STEAM learning and teaching.

About this Event

STEAM : science, technology, engineering, art & design, and math.

Computational thinking is found throughout the curriculum, even for early learners. We will explore resources that allow students to practice problem-solving skills and to learn about algorithms.

This week’s session will provide K to Grade 2 teachers with activities that they can give to students to practice their math and computational thinking skills.

This session is intended as a professional development opportunity for educators. We will be hosting it on Zoom. Meeting details will be emailed 2 hours prior to the event.

This program is a part of Tech-Up, Science World's initiative to enhance existing programs to include coding and computational thinking.
