This session: Solving (math) problems with Computational Thinking
As a problem-solving strategy, computational thinking is an effective method for solving math equations and math problems. Participants will have the opportunity to plan open-ended math problems as we explore ways to make mathematics more relevant to students’ lived experiences.
*We will require a minimum number of participants to run this workshops. Sessions will be cancelled the day before the event if there are not enough registrations. If a workshop fills up, participants that are on a wait-list will be alerted the day prior to the event of any openings.
This program is a part of Tech-Up, Science World's initiative to enhance existing programs to include coding and digital literacy.
