Girls and STEAM Livestream: Indigenous Career Journeys

Students, in honour of International Women’s Day, join the annual Girls & STEAM livestream on Friday, March 6 at 11am, presented by STEMCELL Technologies! This 45-minute event features Indigenous woman-identifying mentors who will inspire students to consider new possibilities in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Design, and Math) fields.

The livestream includes brief talks from three inspiring Indigenous STEAM professionals, followed by a live Q&A, where you’ll have the chance to ask questions and interact with them. Each speaker will share highlights about their journey to today, the amazing work they’re doing, and their dreams for tomorrow. Learn share how their childhood passions and interests sparked paths to rewarding, impactful careers.

This event is ideal for participants in Grade 6 or older, but all ages and genders are welcome to learn from these wonderful women** in STEAM!
