Science World's On The Road team will bring the new interactive show "The Science of Sport" to 9 elementary schools in and around Central Vancouver Island May 25 - 29, 2026. This week-long tour kicks off in Nanaimo and also reaches schools in Ladysmith, Qualicum Beach and Parksville. The week will culminate with the team presenting at the Campbell River North Island College Community Science day on March 30th which is a free family event open to the public.
Designed for elementary students, this new program aims to help kids 'play smarter' by exploring concepts like energy, forces, human health, and technology through engaging demonstrations and hands-on challenges. We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Province of British Columbia in bringing this presentation to schools across BC.
