Science World's On The Road team will bring the new interactive show, The Science of Sport, to 10 elementary schools in Terrace and Kitimat the week of January 19 – 23, 2026.
Designed for elementary students, this new program aims to help kids 'play smarter' by exploring concepts like energy, forces, human health, and technology through engaging demonstrations and hands-on challenges. We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Province of British Columbia in bringing this presentation to schools across BC.
This trip to the region will also allow the team to collaborate with Northern Libraries for public presentations at Prince Rupert, Terrace, Kitimat and Hazelton Libraries January 15 – 17, 2026.
