Dig into computational thinking with our Tech-Up learning specialists, Jaclyn and Josh. Each week we will post a different topic that encourages learners to explore problem solving methods and share their solutions through various offline and online activities.
Week 4: Decomposition
Decomposition is all about making problems easier to understand and solve. You may have heard of the word "decomposition" in science class, which means "breaking something down." In coding, however, instead of breaking down organic material like food and paper, we use decomposition to break down problems.
To find out more about decomposition register to join our Tech-Up Week 4 Challenge. Each Challenge includes:
- More information about this week's topic including fun examples and video explanations
- A chance to win an Ozobot Bit! Every comment submitted to the Challenge will be entered into a draw. Science World will choose two winners each week.
- Thursday 11am online tutorial (optional).
