“Thanks so much to your team for setting up an excellent event this weekend. The weather could have been a challenge, but your team powered through like champs, and the kids and adults who visited us had an absolute blast.”

FAQs

How far in advance do I need to book?

We encourage you to book as early as possible to ensure date and time availability. Ideally bookings are made 3 months in advance, but we can consider bookings up to a year in advance or as short as 2 to 3 weeks.

How many shows can you do at one event?

Most event organizers typically book a maximum of three 30-minute shows.

My venue is small—can you adjust?

Yes! We are very practiced at presenting in many different sized venues both indoor and out, tiny and huge. We request a minimum 10x10 foot presenting area, but can adapt our content to suit your venue and we can work with you to plan a visit that best fits your space. Remember to leave lots of space for audience—we tend to draw a crowd!

Does my venue need a raised stage?

A raised stage is great but not mandatory. If a stage is provided, please ensure stairs are also provided for audience volunteers to join us on stage.

Are there hands-on components?

Our live stage shows will ask select audience volunteers to join us on stage to explore demos like launching rockets or repelling electrons on the Van de Graaff static generator. For more personal hands-on interactions, we recommend our Table Activations where we have the opportunity to interact with everyone who comes by.

What if my event is outdoors?

If you have an outdoor venue, we require one tent (10’ x 10’) for presenting and/or the area must be covered and shielded from wind as much as possible since strong winds will limit some of the demonstrations.

Are OTR events entertaining for adults too?
