Online Tech-Up Workshop Request

Please make sure your classroom is appropriately configured as outlined here and make note of the specific technology requirements for your desired workshop on the individual program page.


Please note: if you log on to your workshop with incorrect technology, we reserve the right to cancel the workshop.

One Free Tech-Up workshop per class per school year, either online or in-person.

Please note: Workshop slots for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year are limited, and fully booked until May 10.

    If you have a split class, please enter all grades. We will confirm this number in the lead-up to the session.
  • If you have more than one grade, please indicate grades below Eg. grades 1-2, 6/7, 3-6, K-7
  • We require a minimum of 10 students present for this workshop. If this number is not met once the workshop starts, we may cancel the workshop with no refund or rebooking.
  • Technology Information

  • Check individual programs for specific requirements. Most experiences require:

    • a teacher to host the workshop on their computer/projector
    • Tech-Up workshops require each student or pair of students to have an acceptable device
    • Tech-Up coding workshops for remote learners require each student to join the platform from a device (laptop or tablet), and also open an internet browser (i.e. Google Chrome).

    We are unable to meet requests with less than ONE WEEK notice.

  • Consider how the length of your workshop best fits into your day with recess, meals and other considerations. Note: you will be requested to join the learning platform 10 minutes prior to the start of the program to ensure tech is running smoothly.
  • Please choose a start time in PST between 9:30am and 1:30pm. Note: you will be requested to join the learning platform 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop to ensure tech is running smoothly.
