After Dark: Science of Love & Sex

When the lights go down, the chemistry comes alive! Step into a night where love meets lab coats and curiosity gets a little wild. Explore the museum like never before, with hands-on exhibits, cheeky and educational Sex Ed Trivia, and a dazzling live spectacle on poles that’s sure to set pulses racing. Expect laughter, intrigue, maybe even a little spark (of the scientific kind). Bring your date, your friends, or just your curiosity... this is science with a side of seduction.

Sex Ed Trivia

Sex Ed Trivia is the perfect opportunity to test your knowledge, bust some myths, and learn something new. Get ready for an evening of laughter, learning, and maybe even a little friendly competition as you answer questions about anatomy, kinks, toys, myths, and more in a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere.

Trivia Host: Alysha Somerton

Alysha is a Queer Sexual Health Educator and Sexologist in training, based out of Vancouver BC. She is a big believer of education as a tool of empowerment and is on a mission to make sex ed more accessible and more enjoyable. Alysha teaches all things related to sexual health in a comprehensive, inclusive and pleasure-based way.

Let’s face it, most of us received little to no sex ed growing up and if we got any, it left us with a whole lot of questions.  That’s why Alysha creates fun and engaging workshops like pleasure education, queer sex ed and the very popular Sex Ed Trivia nights so adults can

have the opportunity to learn all the important things they missed out on. Over the years Alysha has taught in schools, various youth organizations and has hosted many events and workshops for adults. She has an extensive background in youth care work and has adapted a strength-based, trauma informed approach to sexual health and relationship education and coaching.
