Observe the Moon Giveaway

Want to win your very own Celestron Omni refracting telescope? All you have to do is spend some time looking at the sky!

From October 4 - 5 only, visit our feature exhibition Artemis Space Adventure with LEGO® Bricks to pick up a Moon Journal worksheet. Over the course of the next month, use this Journal to record a drawing of how the Moon looks in the sky every night/day. Too many clouds to see the moon on some nights/days? It happens; just draw or note that instead.

After a full month of observing, you can either return a physical copy of your completed Moon Journal to Science World or submit a digital copy using the instructions provided on the back of the worksheet. We will accept submissions of completed Moon Journals beginning from 10 AM on November 1 and until 5 PM on November 15. One lucky Moon observer will win a Celestron Omni refracting telescope!

Contest rules:

One entry per person. Entries must include a valid email address of someone over the age of 19 (but space explorers of all ages are encouraged to complete the Moon Journal itself!). To be eligible for the telescope prize, a mailing address within Canada is required. Only the winner will be contacted.
