Birthday Parties

Update: March 1, 2022

We are currently not booking birthday parties until further notice. We hope to be able to offer birthday parties again in the near future!

In the meantime, we can offer group rates with a minimum of 10 paying guests. Please contact [email protected] and our team will gladly assist you.

Planning a birthday party shouldn't feel like rocket science!

When you book a party with Science World, we take care of all the details—activities, meals, and decorations—so you don't have to. On top of that, we'll spark your birthday child’s natural curiosity and sense of wonder. A rocket launch, chemical reaction, or fire demonstration usually helps with that!

Start the party in your private room, where one of our science facilitators will lead the children through science experiments that trigger wide eyes, wonder, and plenty of “Wow!”s. Then take them out to Science World’s exciting galleries and hands-on exhibits, for a day of astonishment and delight that they will remember forever.

Toddler Party

General Public: $249
Science World Members: $222

Available at 10:30am, 1pm and 3:30pm

We know that little ones under the age of 3 have different needs than older kids. That's why we've created a party especially designed for our youngest minds who want to explore on their own, without a set program.

Your party includes:

  • 1 ½ hours in a decorated private party room
  • All day admission to Science World for 10 children (under 3) and 10 adults (children ages 3 and up will be charged as extra guests)
  • A party host for the duration of the party
  • Extra guests at $15 each ($12 if you are a Science World Member)
  • We invite you to bring appropriate snacks and drinks for each child

Note: Extra guests (kids or grownups) are $15 each ($12 if you are a Science World Member) to a maximum capacity of 30 total guests in the party room. Prices are subject to tax. Maximum total of 30 kids and grownups in the party room.

Optional Add-ons:

  • OMNIMAX® film: $5 per person
  • Loot bags:
    • $6 Preschool (recommended ages 6 and under)
    • $9 Intermediate (recommended ages 6+)

More Information:

  • Admission to special feature exhibitions are not included, but upgrade options are available (see above).
  • All birthdays must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
  • A $63 deposit is required at the time of booking.
  • Deposits are refundable with 14 working days’ cancellation notice.
  • All guests attending the party will be counted and charged for at the add-on rate (above and beyond the package total)—this includes Science World Members (as this is a private function).
  • Please provide your own birthday cake and candles.
  • Outside meals are not permitted. (But extra snacks and drinks are allowed.)
  • Coupons and passes are not valid for Birthday Parties.
  • Parties are available on weekends but may not be available on holidays.
