Join us for a sleepover at Science World where your group will spend the night in a gallery beneath our iconic dome. 

Explore the galleries after-hours, enjoy live science demonstrations, watch a film in the Science Theatre, and sleep among our interactive exhibits. Then, refuel the next morning with a tasty breakfast!

Cost

CAMPERS: 
$95 + GST per camper 

ADULTS: 
One adult free for every five paid campers 
Additional adults: $47.50 + GST each 

DEPOSIT: 
Secure your booking with a $1,000 deposit. Required within two weeks of booking confirmation. 

PAYMENT: 
Final payment is due two weeks prior to your Camp-In date. 

PAYMENT METHODS: 
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or organization cheque payable to ASTC Science World Society.

A typical Camp-In itinerary looks like this: 

6pm — Doors open and check-in 
6:30pm — Welcome (safety talk, sleeping arrangements, overview of the evening etc.) 
6:45pm — Science Theatre film 
7:30pm — Evening snacks 
7:45pm — Free time in the galleries 
10:00pm — Night hike on the Green Roof Terrace 
10:30pm — Get ready for bed
11:00pm — Lights out 
6:30am — Rise and shine! Pack-up, eat breakfast 
7:45am — Science Show at Centre Stage 
8:30am — Goodbyes and Science Store opens (optional)

Minimum 60 student campers 
Minimum 12 supervising adults 
Maximum 350 total participants

A minimum 1:5 adult to child ratio is required for sleepovers, which is why we offer one complimentary adult spot for every five paid campers.  

You may team up with another school within your school district to meet minimum group requirements.

At 6pm, we’ll start checking everyone in. Groups will enter through Science World’s main entrance, and passenger drop-off is directly in front of the building. 

Parking: 

Free overnight parking is available for Camp-In guests.

Please do not pay at the meter, as we cannot issue refunds. Instead, come pick up a parking pass at the front desk.

While breakfast is included, dinner can be arranged separately with our on-site Triple O’s restaurant.  

Groups choosing to dine at Triple O’s should arrive at 5pm as meals will be served in the restaurant until check-in at 6pm.
