Device Recycling with TELUS

Celebrate Earth Day by breathing new life into your pre-loved device, and get free access to Science World!

Has your iPhone 7 spent enough time locked away in a shoe box at the back of your closet? Bring it to Science World on Earth Day (April 22, 2023) along with any other cellphones, tablets, smart watches or airpods you want to part ways with — It'll be recycled by TELUS and you'll receive one free general admission to the dome on that day.

Then:

  • Learn how recycling your electronic devices helps protect endangered species, keeps our oceans and air clean, and supports our planet’s health.
  • Explore the exciting, interactive station to expand your knowledge about recycling, biodiversity and the environment.
  • Visit the games booth for your chance to take home some fun prizes!

Since 2005, TELUS has recycled more than 3.5 million devices, upcycling them to give to a Canadian in need, or recycling them to keep them out of landfills, and keep our planet healthy.

On April 22 from 10am—5pm, you can drop off your devices at the TELUS booth outside Science World's main entrance. After that, please drop them in the bin in our lobby during our regular operating hours.

One device = one free general admission (regardless of device value). You can bring your cellphone, tablet, smart watch or airpods!

Please note: The "One device = one free general admission" promo is only available on April 22, 2023
