Science World and SCWIST (The Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology) are teaming up to help you light up your classroom with creativity! We will explore the places in which electricity, circuits and energy appear in the BC curriculum and strategize how to meaningfully teach this content in your classroom. SCWIST will guide you through the making of LED circuit cards, and all participants will receive a full class set of materials (included with registration) so you can facilitate this activity in your own classroom.
All participants will also be entered for the chance to win a free guest admission to Science World, so you can share the spark of inspiration with a friend. This workshop is open to all K-12 educators in BC.
