Sustainability Saturdays: Dirt Detectives

Roll Your Sleeves Up, Dirt Detectives!

Join us at our second set of workshops in our new Sustainability Saturday series! At Dirt Detectives, uncover the wonders of worms and get captivated by the science of soil.

During this hands-on workshop, dirt detectives will roll up their sleeves to

  • explore indoor and outdoor worm composters
  • see the intricate anatomy of our underground heroes
  • learn about the indispensable role worms play in enhancing our soil’s health
  • understand how these wrigglers turn food scraps into nourishing compost
  • check out Science World’s own mobile vermicomposter (aka worm composter), called Holly’s Composter

The best part? Participants get to create—and bring home—their own mini mobile worm composters.

Sign up now to unleash your inner dirt detective, and up your home composting game!
