Visit Ken Spencer Science Park
The Ken Spencer Science Park is partially opening from September 11 – October 6. During these 3.5 weeks, you can:
- Cluck hi to the chickens, see our food gardens, and play in our transportation, energy, and nature exploration areas.
- Get hands-on with our drop-in programming with our mobile worm composter.
- Meet our hens at Chicken Hour every day at 3 pm.
- Join our special workshops, like the Quick Pickling Workshop with Strathcona Community Centre on September 14.
In our outdoor Science Park, we engage visitors with sustainability through large-scale and splashy exhibits and seasonally changing programs. Join us as we explore food production (including backyard chickens), urban planning, and outdoor play!
