Gift Cards

Your purchase of a gift card helps inspire young minds and support Science World. The cards are redeemable for items in our gift shop, entry to Science World and memberships.

Science World is not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen cards. Cards are non-refundable and cannot be replaced or redeemed for cash. Gift Cards are treated as cash and can't be used to reserve tickets online or by phone. You choose the value of the card (minimum $10). 

Gift cards will be mailed to the billing address. If you would like to change the shipping address please email [email protected].

Gift Card FAQs

Can gift cards be purchased at Science World? Yes, you can purchase them in-person from our membership team. Please note: the membership desk closes at 4:30pm.

Do you have digital gift cards? At this time, we do not offer digital gift cards. For online purchases a physical gift card will be mailed to the billing address.

Can I purchase a gift card and have it mailed directly to the recipient? Yes, please contact our team at [email protected] they will send you a link to process payment online and mail the gift card to the recipient (instead of the billing address).

When can I expect my gift card to be delivered? You should receive your gift card in 5-10 business days.

Can I buy a gift card online and pick it up in-person? Yes, please email our team at [email protected] with your booking confirmation number as soon as your purchase is complete, we will put it aside for pick-up for you.

What amount can be put on a gift card? You can load any amount over $10 on to a gift card.

Do gift cards expire? No, the value you loaded onto a card will remain on the card until it is redeemed.

I received a Science World gift card, what can I use it for? Science World gift cards can be used for in-person purchases of items in our Science Store, general admission tickets and annual memberships.

Can I use my gift card to pre-book tickets online? Gift cards can only be redeemed on site. Science World has returned to full capacity and booking tickets in advance is not required.

How do I find out the value of my card? You can send a photo of the back of your gift card to [email protected] and we can send you the card balance.

I received a gift card, but I’ve misplaced it – is there a way to get a new one? If you have the receipt/booking confirmation number our team may be able to find the purchase and manually redeem the gift card. We cannot find or redeem lost gift cards without receipt/booking confirmation.

If I don’t use my gift card, can I refund it? No, Science World gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
