All Stories

It’s Easy to be a BC Green Games Team

While BC Green Games teams are busily completing their projects for the March 1 deadline, we want to remind our green storytellers that telling a good story doesn’t require a lot of technical savvy. Award-winning digital stories can be as simple as a few good photographs, an action plan and a description of your team’s impact on your school or community. Even projects submitted during their implementation can inspire others to begin action in their school or community. Remember, rely on your strengths and your message will come through.

When it comes to environmental stewardship, everyone is a winner and we want to reward all of you for your amazing efforts. To celebrate your awesomeness, all participants will:

  • Receive a celebration package.
  • Have your project showcased at Science World for all of Green Month.
  • Join us at TELUS World of Science for our rocking Earth Day Celebrations on April 22 with special guests, Mindil Beach Markets, who will present The Jellyfish Project.
  • Receive a free field trip* during Science World's first week of Green Month, April 22 to May 21!

*transportation not included

There’s still time to submit and share your environmental action stories to be eligible to win. We have $24,000 in prizes to award to winning schools around BC and everyone’s project will remain in our gallery to inspire others!

Go now to BC Green Games to submit and share your team’s project and view other submissions in the gallery.
