On Sunday, October 27, we invited our supporting partners at TD Bank Group and TD Friends of the Environment Foundation to come join us in officially opening the TD Environmental Trail outside of TELUS World of Science. Mr Mauro Manzi, Senior Vice President, Pacific Region, for TD Bank Group and Mrs Jennifer Ingham, Vice President of Development for Science World, shared the honour of cutting the TD Environmental Trail “ribbon”—three strands of braided clematis vines harvested from the Ken Spencer Science Park—to formally open the Trail to the public.
Made possible through a fantastic $500,000 gift to Science World by TD Bank Group, the TD Environmental Trail encourages trail walkers to learn more about environmentally sustainable practices and processes happening around them in Metro Vancouver. Both TD and Science World believe that sustainability education and awareness are an important part of the future of our community and are very happy to be partnered together in the creation of the TD Environmental Trail that embodies that belief.
