During this in-person event, we will explore tools and strategies for thoughtfully incorporating technology into our explorations of science in the classroom.
This in-person event open to all K – 12 educators will focus on classroom resources and activities that combine digital literacy, data literacy, and real-world science! Science World is happy to share that we will feature Ocean Networks Canada as a guest presenter during this fun, interactive session. Together we will explore tools that make authentic scientific research accessible to your students, including:
- iNaturalist
- Earthquake data
- NASA Satellite data
- And more!
In addition to coffee, light refreshments, and free admission to Science World for the day with your free registration, there will also be fantastically nerdy prize giveaways!
