Before booking, please be sure to check our Field Trip Rates and Policies page for the most up to date information.

Please Note:

  • Bookings for the 2024-25 school year are now open!
  • All Workshops are fully booked through May 2025.
  • Exploring Matter and Changing Matter is fully booked through June 2025.
  • Field trips are booked on a first come, first served basis, with limited capacity available.
  • The OMNIMAX Theatre will remain closed for the forseeable future.

Field Trip Request Form 2024-25

  • Please note: all public schools, strong start centres, continued education, distributed learning, and early learning centres are listed under their respective districts. All independent schools and FNSA schools are listed under their own heading. If you cannot find your school listed under any of these, please select "My school is not listed" and be aware that we may need to assess your eligibility for the school rates.

    $12.90 + GST per student
    $13.90 + GST per adult – 1 free adult for every 5 students, rounded down

    General Admission + Reserved Program

    Rate:
    $12.90 + $2.00 + GST per student
    $13.90 + GST per adult – 1 free adult for every 5 students, rounded down
    As of March 1 2025, there is no $2.00 surcharge for Tech-Up reserved programs: Coding for the Climate, Bodyworks Chatbot, Modeling Math with Finch Robots, Designing from Nature

    For more details on workshops, visit our catalogue of reserved programs. Please note we have limited capacity for program delivery and will not able to meet all requests.
  • Include all teachers and chaperones, including parents, who will be supporting the field trip. 1 adult required for every 5 students (rounded down. For example, 20-24 students requires 4 adults, 25-29 students requires 5 adults, etc.)
  • Admission for Educational aides and special needs attendants is free.

    We are welcoming schools for visits starting as early as Sept. 9, 2024. We will start welcoming schools for visits with workshop bookings for dates between Oct. 1, 2024 and June 20, 2025.

  • Science World Bursary

    If you would like to be considered for a bursary to help cover the costs of your field trip, please apply for the bursary as outlined here.
    By completing this current booking request, you agree to cover the costs of your field trip in the event that your bursary application is not approved or is not approved before your field trip date.

    If you wish to book a field trip conditional on receiving a bursary, please disregard this booking form and apply for a bursary at the link above only.
