Want to help inspire girls to explore STEAM?
The Girls and STEAM event inspires girls ages 11–13 to discover and pursue their interests in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and design, and mathematics) while learning from professional female mentors (and their male allies) who work in STEAM careers.
The event includes a public showcase available to all Science World guests (an estimated 5,000 people will attend), and a pre-registered symposium for 300 girls who will take part in workshops and mentor cafés for a full day of interactive learning.
We are calling for proposals from community partners who want to a) lead a workshop, b) host an activity table at the public showcase, or c) participate in a mentor café. We hope you’ll want to help inspire girls to explore STEAM! Please apply at the links below, or email [email protected] for more information.
