It Takes a Community to Raise a Scientist

With our Members, donors and community partners, we will raise innovators, creators and visionaries with the skills and scientific minds that will lift our society, build strong economies and solve the daunting challenges of our time.

Heading into its sixth year, Science World’s Future Science Leaders (FSL) program engages curious students in grades 10, 11 and 12 in a “talent incubator” and partners them with doctors and PhD candidates at UBC.

“FSL helped me understand how science is conducted in the real world and I learned many practical skills like research, time management and positive peer critiquing.”
– First year FSL student
