Physical Distancing and Health and Safety
Science World staff and volunteers will be wearing masks or face shields to help to protect the health and safety of both our team and visitors.
It is mandatory for visitors ages 6 and over to wear either a mask or face shield, as they help contain speech-generated droplets.
Visitors will be expected to maintain a physical distance of 2 metres from staff and other visitors and to use hand sanitizer provided upon entry and exit.
Visitors are required to agree to a Code of Conduct when purchasing tickets. This will be visible at our entrance and offered as a reminder throughout the building.
Signs and directions will guide you through the new visitor pathways in our building. These new pathways will allow for physical distancing and flow through the galleries, elevators, stairwells and washrooms. Please follow the directions of staff and respect the spaces of other visitors to Science World.
Triple O’s, Snack Lab and drinks and food vending machines will be closed. If you have a health condition that requires you to have snacks/beverages during your visit, please bring them with you and consume only when seated and physically distanced from other visitors.
Bring your re-fillable water bottle! The touchless water bottle filling stations will be functioning. The hands-on buttons and bubblers (the part you put your mouth near) will not be functioning.
There will be no tolerance for any racism or discrimination towards other visitors or staff. Any misconduct will result in removal from the facility without a refund.
