Corporate Sponsorship
With over 850,000 annual visitors and approximately 180,000 people who experience our provincial outreach programs, Science World British Columbia can help you meet your marketing and brand goals and reach your audience with exclusive and shared sponsorship opportunities tailored to your company. Sponsorship values vary and are available now for upcoming feature exhibitions, individual exhibits, permanent galleries/labs/performance space, events and educational outreach programs operating throughout British Columbia.
Sponsors enjoy a mutually beneficial partnership which can include enhanced recognition, onsite and program activation opportunities, employee engagement, plus hosting benefits for Science World admission and special events.
Does your company share our passion for igniting wonder and empowering dreams through science and nature? Would you like to gift your employees a way to spend more time with their families? Then our Corporate Membership program at Science World is for you.
If your company is eligible, you can receive discounted One-Year Family Memberships to Science World for your employees. The more employees you sign up for the program, the more you save! (Please note that you must sign up a minimum of 15 employees to participate in the program.)
Unlimited general admission to our permanent galleries, select temporary exhibitions, live presentations, and more.
Free admission to over 360 science centres worldwide through the ASTC Travel Passport Program, and the CASC Reciprocal Admission program (some restrictions apply).
If your company would like to sign up for our Corporate Membership Program, please contact us at [email protected].
Team Building
Corporate groups that make a donation of $2,500 or more will have the opportunity to join us for a STEAM team building experience for 5 to 30 employees at Science World. Facilitated by our in-house educators, a 60-minute hands-on session (and an option to add an OMNIMAX® film) will encourage cooperation, creativity and friendly competition. Your STEAM champions will get to play, problem solve and find out first-hand how we take learning to the next level for children and youth across BC every year.
Team Building experiences are currently only available to Science World donors.
Looking for a fun group volunteer activity for your team? Corporate groups that make a donation of $5,000 or more will have the opportunity to join us for a hands-on volunteer experience at a Community Access Evening* at Science World. Your team of 5 to 30 people will have the chance to be informal science educators for an evening, delivering fun activities to kids and families from underserved communities in one of our interactive galleries or lab spaces.
Group volunteer opportunities with Science World British Columbia are an exclusive benefit for corporate donors and availability is limited.
*Community Access Evenings offer free admission to families and individuals who are faced with various barriers to participation (e.g. financial, social and/or physical), and who may not otherwise have the opportunity to visit Science World. We deliver 6–8 Community Access Evening events each year during the summer months; group volunteer opportunities are currently restricted to these days.
By working with British Columbian technology and health science companies and their principals—professionals who know the pivotal role that science and technology play in developing the province—the Equity Program builds long-term endowments for Science World.
As a corporation, a company principal or individual, here’s how you can make a difference:
1. Donate securities to Science World now. 2. Grant stock options to Science World now. 3. Pledge to give equity to Science World in the future, upon an exit event.
