Field Trips

Science World is helping the young people of today become the innovators of tomorrow. One way we do that is through Field Trips to the dome, when students get to see science in action. Our interactive programming is designed by educational experts to deliver lightbulb moments along with collaborative learning and lasting memories.

Field Trips set the next generation of nerds on a learning path that encourages critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and an enduring curiosity about the world around them.

Steps to Book a Field Trip

Browse our Field Trip Catalogue to see what's available and learn about all our curriculum-connected offerings. Our programs are designed by education specialists and reflect British Columbia’s transformed curriculum. Each program provides content enrichment for a "Big Idea" and opportunities to exercise and extend students’ core competencies.

Plan your field trip in person! Teachers who pay annual fees to the BC TRB may prepare for their field trip by visiting Science World ahead of the trip. On the day of your visit, present your ID at admissions to gain entry (2 free general admission visits per year; special exhibition fees are not included) and receive 10% off all items in our Science Store.
