FIELD TRIPS: BOOK NOW

Field trip booking forms for the 2025-26 school year will open August 5, 2025

ONSITE WORKSHOPS

For a complete list of onsite student workshops, see here.

For the 2025-26 school year, Tech-Up Workshops will be free, thanks to generous sponsors, until March 31st, 2026!

We are also adding new and re-imagined workshops for your class in 2025-26!

NEW: Your Voice Is Power onsite workshop for grades 7 to 9 will explore social justice, Indigenous voices, and AI. Available for free from October 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026!

ReimaginedBodyWorks Chatbot onsite: Can you trust a chatbot? Students in grades 5-7 will investigate claims from a custom Science World AI with the help of our BodyWorks gallery.

Available for free from October 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026!
Available at a cost from April 1st to June 19th, 2026

ReimaginedMars Coding Quest onsite workshop where students grades 2 to 3 will explore coding with functions and sensors to explore and map features on Mars! What will you and your robot rover discover?
Available for free from October 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026!
Available at a cost from April 1st to June 19th, 2026

*this workshop is a reimagined version of the previous Coding for the Climate Workshop

NEW: Wings & Things: Exploring Insects, Matter and Motion onsite workshop for grades K to 1. Students will explore observable features of BC native insect examples, experiment with materials, and experience some flying forces! Available at a cost from January 5th to June 19th, 2026

BURSARIES

For the 2025-26 school year, we will open two rounds of bursary applications. Priority will be given to schools wishing to participate in Tech-up workshops.

Teacher Preview Pass

Plan your field trip in person! Teachers who pay annual fees to the BC TRB may prepare for their field trip by visiting Science World ahead of the trip. On the day of your visit, present your ID at admissions to gain entry (2 free general admission visits per year; special exhibition fees are not included) and receive 10% off all items in our Science Store.

Science Spotlight Bundles

We have just released two new Science Spotlights and activity bundles as part of GenAction presented by Odlum Brown. Learn about local climate change research and solutions in the Sea Level Rise Bundle or Temperature Increase Bundle with your class or family. Each bundle includes a Science Spotlight article, a researcher profile, and one-two companion activities to take your learning further.
